DingTalk, touted as a messaging app for companies, to provide a secure form of instant communication for the bussiness world is just another Trojan Horse tactic.

This is nothing new, nothing special, a version of WhatsApp with a different color scheme. For like all the other Free to use Messeging Apps, DingTalk also uses your Information for other purposes, though we shouldnt be surprised, it’s from China. :

“we will collect and connect the information relating to the product and/or services used by you and the way you use them.” So much for Privacy.

“We will collect the information on purchase orders placed by you in using our services to present such information to you and facilitate your management of purchase orders.” Marketing Ads.

“we will use your information for the following purposes: Provide you with DingTalk products or services you intend to use” Intend to use? So basicly they have created a profile on you, based on your usage, past purchases, etc and know before you do what you will buy, which services you want, etc. That alone is reason for concern.

“We may process your information or combine your information with information from other services in order to provide more customized service to you, such as to recommend to you any contents which you may be interested in, including but not limited to send product and service information to you, or display personalized third-party promotional information to you through the system, or, share information with the partners of Taobao so that they may send information about their products and services to you.” This is not a feature I would want, or any company which uses this service would want.

“ In order to facilitate joint service on the basis of connected account, recommend the information that you may be interested in or protect personal and property safety of the Affiliates of DingTalk, other users or the public, your Personal Information may be shared with our Affiliates.Who are these “Affiliates”? Well, Beijing Ant Zoloz Technology Co. Ltd is one of them, the worlds Leader in Facial Recognition Software. I would be very uneasy if DingTalk would share my information with them.

What about the Affiliates Privacy Policy? “Ant Zoloz will keep your facial feature information comply with Ant Financial Group privacy policy. In order to improve the accuracy of real person verification and certification, you agree Ant Zorro to compare your facial feature information with your face information connected/controlled by authorized organizations and/or government organs when necessary.” Thats is just what we Don’t Need.

“Personal Information may be shared, transferred or disclosed to the public without your authorization and consent under the following circumstances:

  1. National safety and national defense security are involved; This is the most Vague line in history. Extremely Grey.
  2. Criminal investigation, prosecution, judgment and enforcement are involved; Makes no difference what crime was committed, and under what jurisdiction are we talking about here, China?

Now there are many more, and to be honest I have just picked a few. Though it just goes to show that as of today there is only ONE company that can offer Businesses and individuals a Premium, Private instant messenger.

Crypviser.

Privacy? Crypviser has NO information on their users.

Marketing Ads? Since Crypviser doesn’t know who their customers are, no names, no birthdates, no gender, no e-mail, no phone numbers, no personal information whatsoever, they can’t market ads, to anybody.

Sharing Information with Third Parties? Crypviser has no Information to share. Period !

Security? Crypviser is the MOST secure messenger out there. Blockchain Authenticated, Highest level of Encryption, Anonymous, they are in a league of their own.

It is time for others to Stop Pretending to be what they are not. All of them are dependant on YOUR information to stay in business. The roles have changed, you are their product and they are your customer. However you are selling YOU for nothing, for the simple use of an APP. In order for them to stay in business they MUST sell off YOUR information to other parties.

Just because an App is marketed for Business use, doesn’t make to so. Another weak attempt to fool the public.
